PURPOSE OF THE UNIT

The purpose of this unit at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University is to organize activities related to the practical training of students from faculties, schools, conservatories, and vocational schools. This involves managing the initiation, implementation, conclusion, and evaluation of applied training programs in domestic and international public or private sector enterprises and civil society organizations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIT

a) Conduct planning and coordination activities related to Vocational Training in Enterprises.

b) Collaborate with relevant units to establish and maintain an up-to-date database necessary for the continuous and effective implementation of Vocational Training in Enterprises.

c) Organize orientation training programs in collaboration with units to promote Vocational Training in Enterprises.

d) Analyze revision, change, and improvement proposals submitted by unit committees regarding Vocational Training in Enterprises and present these proposals to the Rectorate.

e) Establish cooperation with higher education institutions and enterprises both domestically and internationally on Vocational Training in Enterprises, share ideas, and incorporate innovative best practices into the University.

f) Visit enterprises on behalf of the university to facilitate vocational training activities, act as a bridge between units and enterprises, assist in the preparation and execution of protocols, and help expand the program to involve more enterprises.

g) Maintain communication with students, gather and analyze their opinions and suggestions regarding vocational training in enterprises, and present these reports to the coordination committee.
